In all likelihood, more. Meat and eggs and dairy and non-organic and now tomatoes out of season? Someday, someone is going to take away my kimchi... <br /><br />On the other hand, I love reading this sort of thing. It's completely necessary, if I want to be a nice guy in as many ways as possible. And, I find that there's an equivalent, compensating feeling of joy after the initial shock - that is, once you're able to reach and adjust to the next stage of ethical eating, whether it's finding substitute foods, joining a CSA, or growing your own. <br /><br />It's important for food bloggers to offset depressing posts like this with posts about the positive emotions ethical eating can bring, whether it's a sense of community, awe at a delicious dish, or the sense of contentment that comes from knowing one is doing what one can.
